O governador de Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil), divulgou uma nota lamentando a morte do deputado estadual Iso Moreira (União Brasil), nesta sexta-feira, 4. O deputado estava hospitalizado no Rio de Janeiro por complicações da covid-19.

“Foi com grande pesar que Gracinha Caiado e eu recebemos a notícia do falecimento do deputado estadual Iso Moreira, no Hospital Copa D’Or, município do Rio de Janeiro. Aos 75 anos, ele enfrentava uma dura batalha contra as complicações da Covid-19, há cerca de nove meses.
A partida de Iso Moreira nos deixa enlutados e tristes. Com seis mandatos de deputado estadual, Iso deu uma grande contribuição para o Estado de Goiás, especialmente o Nordeste goiano. Manifestamos as mais sinceras condolências aos familiares de Iso, na pessoa da viúva Ildete Gomes Ferreira, prefeita de Simolândia, e de seus filhos. Que Deus conforte o coração de todos.

Aloísio Moreira dos Santos, conhecido como Iso, era agropecuarista, empresário e comerciante, mas desde a década de 1990 iniciou, também, sua atuação na política goiana. Foi prefeito de Simolândia e depois ingressou no legislativo, tendo exercido o cargo de deputado estadual por seis vezes. Estava afastado de seu último mandato desde maio, por motivos de saúde.
